    I used the filter tool for next generation sequenced srna dataset and I found that the number of sequences in the final fasta file was different for 2 different versions I have installed in my computer (2.4.2 and 2.5.0). I figured out that its because of the difference in the way both discard known trna or rna sequences. However, there is no difference in the trna and rrna fasta file that comes in the data folder along with the workbench. So I wondering why both the versions spit out different numbers for the same dataset with the same parameters and the same genome sequence matching – arabidopsis Tair10.

    Any help in this regard will be very appreciated.

      That is interesting! I had not noticed any difference as yet. I will run some tests and get back to you!
